....one of those really nice, clean, unmolested 'older restoration' cars that seem to float into our showroom every once in a while. Excellent body, very nice paint, mostly redone interior, good top and side curtains, very good chrome and trim..........

Also, luggage rack, rebuilt brakes, new wood dash, EXCELLENT mechanics (perfect compression and oil pressure, no smoke, lively performance), WHATS LEFT?
\
Has original air cleaner assembly (frequently missing and replaced with pancake filters), spotless engine bay, wiring looks to be in good condition, fitted with turn signals (which only later 'ex' model TDs have), great gearbox (a TD weakness...this car shifts well, has good synchromesh and the trans is quiet in all gears), wipers and all gauges work, exhaust is quiet, front end is tight, the list continues........

Certainly 'showable' if not a serious show car entry. But as a fair weather driver, hard to beat. Basically a nice, solid car....runs and looks great. Whats left?

Oh, yes...some nice details...a wonderful array of options....all very usable and desirable. Converted to negative ground, stereo/CD in the glove box, Lucas tripod headlights, original Lucas driving lights, restored original steering wheel. Drive as it is and don't worry about a 'restoration' well into the next century.

AND NO RUST underneath...really excellent. Must have been garaged most of its life. No sign of repair, undercoating, patching, or perforation. Even the thin body/running board mounts are excellent with no rust.
