...restored around seven years ago, ALWAYS garaged, little used.
We were told the engine has covered around 1,500 miles since it was rebuilt. Our tests would seem to bear that our: Compression: 180 psi in every cylinder, 60 psi plus oil pressure, no smoke, excellent running, rust free 'underneath,' very clean suspension, back axle, etc. (clearly having been redone), excellent body with very nice older paint. New interior, excellent wiring, very good top and side curtains, wire wheels, all gauges work, exhaust is quiet, car rides very well, chrome is uniformly very good, really doesn't need anything as an excellent 'driver.'
And looks great. Inside, out, underneath, everywhere. And with unusually good performance for a 1250 (clearly the excellent compression has something to do with that!).
Gearbox was a bit on the weak side (another way of saying 'in desperate need of an overhaul') which is currently being done. New cluster gear, new first gear (the traditionally weakest part of a trans), new bearings, seals, etc. Will be done soon.
