Very good running and driving....125-145 psi compression in every cylinder, no smoke cold or hot, 75+ psi oil pressure when warm, clutch and trans feel good, just replaced rear wheel cylinders, adjusted the valves, aligned the steering wheel, solved the common 'loose steering issue' (was missing a BSF nut on one of the adjusting screws on the steering box, now...unusually good for an early TR), very good frame (no damage, no rust, no sign of twisting), floor has been patched but is amply solid (no danger of a driver's foot going through the floor!!!!), very nice dash/gauges, redone seats, fairly new carpets and interior panels, good bumper and guards, v.g. grille, new splined wheel adapters, new chrome knock offs, ABSOLUTELY no rust in the spare wheel compartment or trunk (VERY unusual for one of these cars). Not a bad little early TR
1958? Well, lets presume that some far off MV department made an error. Car is clearly a 1957. And the small mouth TRs are nice, classic sports cars with 100hp engines, 105-110 mph performance, and with the sure braking from their disc brakes.
