We found this car in South Carolina....a nice, clean, rustfree 'survivor.' Can't guarantee its covered with original paint BUT looked at a small chip in the paint...right down to the bare metal. Went over the exterior with my kitchen magnet...stuck everywhere. Looked underneath...no wood rot in the floors, excellent battery boxes, no sign of rust perforation anywhere.

Paint was faded BUT after a half day of buffing, came up great. VERY straight (other than some slight hail damage dents on the trunk lid....NO idea why didn't seem to show up in the photos...but they are there nevertheless), no sign of bondo, no sign of rust. And that is VERY unusual in a 54 year old MG...or any other car.

The rest? 150-160 psi compression, 65 psi oil pressure, no smoke, excellent performance, very clean engine bay, what appears to be a new wiring harness, impressive brand new chromed exhaust and muffler, new fuel tank and pump, all gauges and electricals work properly, new carpets, very good seats, very good chrome, top, tonneau, brakes and clutch work fine (master cylinder just rebuilt and new slave cylinder, new wheel cylinders and shoes), grearbox sounds and feels good (FAR better than average synchromesh), has wire wheels, near new set of radial tires, not a speck of rust on the trunk floor, what else is left?

NOT a restored and NOT a show car. But a very nice, excellent running, rust and bondo free classic sports car. Nothing more and nothing less.
