One of the best vintage race Turners we ever sold (nine years ago). Now rebuilt, thoroughly prepared, and ready for a great 2006 racing season: rebuilt race prepared 1,000cc BMC engine, Carrillo steel con rods, forged racing pistons, ported and polished big valve head, twin SUs, headers, Tilton flywheel, 1275 clutch, straight cut close ratio gears, 15" wire wheels with 450L15 Dunlop racing tires, currently fitted with disc brakes (for SVRA racing) but the car comes with drum brakes (for VSCCA racing), roll bar with nicely designed side bars, fuel cell, fire system, front sway bar, oil cooler, twin upholstered seats, tonneau, excellent fiberglass body with very good BRG paint, Aeroquip lines, dual master cylinder, original chassis plate, 'period' racing screen and mirrors, very nicely trimmed interior, electric cooling fan, lots and lots of other appealing parts and accessories.
This car would be a competitive VSCCA racer than can double as a good SVRA racer AND be easily fitted for 'light' road use. Add a windshield, wipers, lights, charging system, etc. and one could use this car as a nice addition to to the 'road' part of one's collection. Much as I have done with my dual purpose Lotus Super 7 Series 1.
