Restored by well known professional restoration expert in 2004-2006. Driven 500 miles and still 'as new.'
Fantastic car....underneath looks like a new car back for its first 500 mile service....EVERYTHING is new or 'as new.' Floors and sills and every other panel underneath is perfect, painted, detailed. Same with suspension, brakes, back axle, fuel tank, back axle, driveshaft, electrial and hydraulioc lines, ALL virtually perfect.
Back on top, beautiful paint, chrome, seals, detailing. All new interior. New top and side curtains, new top frame and tonneau. New wiring harness, superb engine (135 psi compression right across, 95-500 psi oil pressure when warm and running, no smoke when started or running), transmission, brakes, steering, all are like new.
Spotless engine bay and trunk, all gauges work propertly, new exhaust, new shocks, the list is endless. On the road, the best TR3A ever.....surprisingly precise steering, great ride, and the 105hp TR engine really pulls. Remember, this car has the same weight as a MG TF with double the power and disc brakes.
Have I left anything out? Perfectly painted and detailed under the dash (even the heater looks as if it has been restored), everywhere I looked all I found was a close to 'as new' car. Ready for show or a wonderful Spring/Summer/Fall season of happy crusing. Add electronic ignition, perhaps a back up fuel pump, and have a dead reliable 52 year old classic with 110 mph performance.
For the money, it really doesn't get any better than this. Call for more details........
