rebuilt and restored....absolutely show winning body prep and paint quality....as perfect as any I have ever seen.
Same with engine bay detailing, interior, weather equipment, chrome, etc....show ready and potentially winning condition.
Rebuilt engine, rebuilt trans, brakes, front end, MGB sway bar, new chrome wire wheels, performance exhaust, headers, rebuilt SUs, new wiring harness, show quality engine bay detailing, stereo, new top and side curtains, new tonneau, the list continues........as nice an MGA as we have ever had and unquestionally the best we currently have in inventory.
And as a 1600 Mk I, this car has ample power, disc brakes, and beautiful lines. Maybe the best all around MGA sub model.
With its 3.9 diff (from an MGB), the car has the high gearing one might usually associate with overdrive (something never offered on MGAs) resulting in quiet, subdued highway cruising. Not just 'keeping up' with traffic but amply capable of 80, 90+ mph cruising.
Looks great in the photos and just as good in person. The product of an extensive restoration to very high standards and (from our experience in driving it) with first class steering, handling, ride, and overall performance.
