Contents of a letter just received from the last owner about this car:

"Car was built for Edward Whitney of Southport, Michigan in 1964 and delivered to him via Fegus Motors in New York. It has a TR4A engine and Moss gearbox. paint and tires are three years old as are the wire wheels. During my ownership, I've used it as a daily driver and never had it break down on me. I have sorted the wiring, replaced the heater, replaced the master cylinder, and recently replaced the clutch, pressure plate, and throwout carbon with part from the Morgan factory. It has a new custom built aluminum radiator fabricated by Griffin racing (for $1,000). The car has not needed anything else. It has a new custom made $1,200 styafast cloth top and a new $600 tonneau. The car is pretty water tight which is unlike what I am accostomed to in English convertibles. The wooden body frame is good. No rust or rot can be seen."

We sold this car to the last owner four years ago...clearly he has had a fabulous time, has improved the car substantially (new wire wheels, new tires, new paint, new clutch, gone over wiring, new weather equipment, new radiator, new master cylinder, new heater....sounds pretty thorough) and now...we just got it back on trade.

Runs and drives wonderfully...smooth, excellent performance. Good gearbox and steering, sure braking, 'vintage' (but not overly stiff) ride, all gauges work...yeah, even the water temperature...and crawling underneath, wood, chassis, and everything else looks good. Particularly lovely with the expensive stayfast cloth top.
