We found this car in NY....last owner had done a very good job of installing new floors (and, perhaps, other panels)....nice, solid, and rust free 'underneath.' And the exterior? Excellent bodywork, beautiful show quality red paint, all new interior in black with red piping, fairly new tiop, mostly new chrome, wire whees, excellent dash and dash top.

No rebuild history but seems to have all of the qualities of an excellent drive train....no smoke, 65 psi oil pressure when hot, perfect compression, carbs seem to be working perfectly, trans and clutch feel good. Quiet, good synchromesh action, doesn't miss a beat.

Original wiring looks very good, everything works, all gauge work properly, front end is tight, pads and shoes look to be nearly new, shocks passed 'the bounce test.' and the car seems to be unusually quick (perhaps helped by the Weber carb that has been installed). Overall, a beautiful early pull handle (the most collectable) MGB with spirited performance.

Also quite unusual....originally sold in Germany and has a supplemental German VIN tag (see photo). Imagine....a German MGB!
