The absolute best MGB we have had for sale in years. One that we restored and rebuilt to show condition.
We originally found a tired, unhappy B sitting at a friend's shop. 54,000 original miles, original paint, rusted floors and rockers BUT excellent original battery boxes and quarters. Clearly a car that rusted from sitting and disuse. Not from driving.
Original wiring was (and is) excellent, incredible with most of its original cotton covering. The rest? Needed to be redone.
Now...freshly rebuilt engine to a high spec...balanced, high lift cam, hardened valve seats, new pistons, all new parts. Runs fantastically with probably around 110hp. New clutch, freshly rebuilt trans, rebuilt suspension and brakes, new shocks, new exhaust, body; new sills, rockers, floors, ALL rust removed and replaced with professionally welded UK factory panels. And covered in new original color...BMC GN29 British Racing Green in acrylic base coat/clear coat.
New interior, new chrome, trim, seals, gaskets, radiator, starter, generator, the engine engine bay detailed, stereo/CD, electronic ignition, wire wheels, the list goes on and on.
AND comes with the original (this being a one owner car) bill of sale, financing, and lots of other interesting documentation including a comprehensive set of photos taken during the restoration.
A fortune spent to produce a better than new MGB. Of the best year. And a one of a time offer.
