A nice recently redone Elan S4....one owner for nearly all of its life (going back to it being one year old). And in Florida. Excellent chassis, restored body, new paint, very nice mostly original interior, very good convertible top.
Engine just redone and fitted with a Weber head and Webers. Also powder coated tubular headers and an alternator. Chassis appears to be essentially perfect...no rust, no damage, no dents, almost like new. Same with the underbody.
Adjustable ride height shocks, new Rotoflex couplings, all gauges and lights work, power windows work well, tidy engine bay, close to 'spotless' underneath.
SMOOTH AND POWERFUL.......if you have never driven an Elan, what a rush. With probably around 120-125hp on tap, this 1550 pound car moves along with real performance. And superb steering, handling, brakes, and shifting. Everything one might expect from the nicely prepared, essentially one owner Elan.
Absolutely gorgeous when seen. And no disappointment when driven.
