A nice, lightweight, quick Ford powered Morgan.......1600cc Ford engine, Weber, headers, probably around 95hp and in a car with a factory listed weight of a mere 1456 pounds. Add disc brakes, wire wheels, and a slick shifting all synchromesh transmission and the result is one of the best driving Morgans of all time.

Was updated at the factory with late model dash, lights, steering, and other improvements.

And if you wanna beat the paradox of fast cars and well enforced speed limits, just remove the windshield, install the twin racing screens, and odds are you can deceive yourself into thinking you are driving at awesome speeds while staying within the law. Amazing how that works!

IF anyone in the USA is familiar with Morgans, it is typically with 1959-1967 Plus 4s. With the heavy TR3/4 engine and equally heavy Moss gearbox. But this is LIGHT. Like in 'Lotus light' ("performance by adding lightness'). Not all that much more than a Bug Eye Sprite, far more than twice the power, far better ride and handling than the more ponderous Plus 4s, and IF MODIFIED, capable of giving a good Lotus Super 7 or Elan a run for its money.

I had a car such as that a few years ago. We started with an identical Morgan 1600, added a cam, gas flowed head, and twin Webers, got around 140hp from a bored out 1700cc engine (same as used in a Caterham 7), added a Ford Sierra 5 speed and the result was in incredibly fast little Moggie.

A nice car and an interesting combination of old and classic Morgan but with a more modern dash, rear lights, and ignition switch/steering. Whatever it is, quite a nice Morgan. And one that really goes!
