A beautiful older restoration by a 'known' top MG restoration expert...little used since, still in excellent condition.
Excellent body with very nice Tartan red paint, all new black interior, new top, carpeted trunk, original jack bag and jack, wire wheels, mostly new chrome and trim, new rubber seals, beautifully detailed engine bay, new wiring and mostly new electrics, cruise control (hard to believe but there it is), rebuilt SUs, chrome wire wheels, rear sway bar, runs and drives at least as good as new. VERY impressive. No smoke, excellent oil pressure, at least as fast as original (and possibly quicker), doesn't miss a beat.
Ride, handling, steering, brakes are all first rate, has a Radio Shack clock and an older stereo/cassette,
new Aeroquip braided metal oil lines, chrome dashpot covers, original air cleaner assembly, and....can't find any rust on the floors, sills, rockers, etc. Even the battery boxes are excellent.
Found this one in South Carolina. A nice clean Southern car. And ready for a fun season of classic sports car driving.
