I hate to gush about how wonderful, how perfect, how special this car is.....but look at the photos and come to your own conclusions.

In my mind, wonderful, perfect, and special barely do this car justice.

So...........what do we have here? A show quality restoration with just a few minor tweaks. As in, underwent a comprehensive chrome bumper conversion, all new chrome, and lowered to pre-1975 ride height. Also, an expensively prepared 4.0 liter aluminum Rover V8, balanced, ported heads, 3/4 race Crower cam, 500 cfm Holley four barrel carb, RV8 headers, 9.3:1 compression ratio, Buick 300 water pump, aluminum MGBV8 rocker covers, Proform alternator, and all of this is 50 pounds lighter than the original 95hp MGB engine

Oh, and engine builder estimates around 280hp.

Mated to a rebuilt Borg Warner T5 World Class five speed trans with a .63 overdrive (multiplied by the 3.9 B back axle ratio, this amounts to overall gearing of 2.46 and a theoretical top very close to the speed of light (when, according to Einstein, the car will shrink in size and thus fit into the glove box of a 1970 Chrysler K car). On the highway at 60 mph, loafing along at a hair over 2,000 rpm.

AND......3/4` front sway bar, rear sway bar, power assist disc brakes, polyurethane bushings, special high performance aluminum radiator with twin electric cooling fans, leather Miata seats with speakers in the headrests (and they DO fit perfectly), modern stereo/CD, aftermarket leather steering wheel, wood dashboard, luggage rack, carpeted trunk, wide Minilite style alloy wheels with Dunlop 185/65 H rated 15` tires, this is truly an extraordinary car.

Starts instantly, runs perfectly, drives wonderfully, doesn`t miss a beat. Expensive cloth top, new tonneau, EVEN HAS cruise control! All in a 2,000 pound MGB.

For show, for scaring your neighbor, for fast country road driving, a near perfect (in my opinion) classic sports car.
