Quite a find, purchased it from the widow of the owner who had enjoyed it for nearly thirty five years. Can't really know what work he did, but this is what we found:

Excellent chassis and body, very nice paint in two tone greens, starts instantly and runs flawlessly, no smoke, quiet valves, good oil pressure, excellent gearbox (a unit that often take a lot of wear over near eighty years), Tompkins steering (which allows one to make adjustments to adapt to wear), excellent chrome (radiator surround, headlights, etc.), what appears to be all new green leather seats, new stayfast cloth top and tonneau, and a good seat of original side curtains. Full upholstered behind the seats and even has the car's original engine crank.

Tires appear to be in very good condition, has been fitted with twin racing screens, new seat belts, original banjo style steering wheel, all of the original instruments work, same with all lights and wipers, original fog light and horn on front badge bar, new fuel tank and sender, and the brakes have just been gone over.

Something you rarely see....fitted with all domestic (that is, English) equipment, eight inch headlights with 'cat's eye' lenses, original UK registration plate, twin D lights on the rear (for brake and parking lights) and no light units fitted to the rear fenders (a common US adaption).

In my opinion, ride is incredible considering the solid front axle. Drives very well (for a TC), and the experience of driving it with the windshield folded down is sensational. While it was clearly not prepared for show use, it is sufficiently clean to be eminently 'showable.' But its best characteristic is the pre war looks BUT with post war refinement.....hydraulic brakes, press fit main and rod bearings, and synchromesh on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears.

TCs are beautiful cars which are fun to drive, and really provide a pre war driving experience. 10,000 were built and it is estimated that around 2,300 were originally exported, however none were ever built in left hand drive. But many have been brought over during the past near eighty years.
