Just in and getting minor details....excellent wood framing and sheet metal, very nice red paint (and appears to have been disassembled for paintwork), all new Camel leather seats and new interior, good top and tonneau, excellent chrome, 'matching numbers' (has original engine), 60+ psi oil pressure, 140-145 psi compression, no smoke, original air cleaner assembly (which is often missing in many TDs,) new cloth covered wiring harness (and no better means of ensuring long term reliability than new wiring), excellent transmission. Even original King of the Road chrome headlights and original wing lights.
(to keep the price down, we have removed the wire wheel conversion and reflected it in a lower price. IF a buyer wants the wire wheel conversion reinstalled, as seen in the photos, price would increase by $4,000)
MG TDs are one of the best 'buys'' in a classic sports car....same body as an MG TC but with precise rack and pinion steering, coil spring independent front suspension, modern wheel/tire size such that modern radial tires can be used, and most TDs were built in LHD for the US market.
