Completely rebuilt and restored......excellent driver AND show winner.

British Heritage papers, matching numbers, was originally in BRG (as it is now). Paint and body work are both superb (see enclosed photos showing reflections in the paint), all new floors, spotless under the carpets and from underneath, all panels fit well, and detail work in engine bay and trunk area are both in show ondition.

We were told the engine was completely rebuilt (no verification but you will see in one image, the '1800' casting near the bottom of the block is absolutely spotless and we DID NOT steam clean any part of this car. Carbs appear to be new, same with engine mounts, hardware, new wiring harness, New Aeroquip oil lines and new oil cooler, Like the rest of the car, everything in the engine bay is in show condition.

Car has the two most desirable factory options.....perfect working overdrive and wire wheels. All gauges work, same with all electricals, even the dash interior light and the rear light when the back deck cover is opened. Chrome, glass, rubber seals and gaskets all perfect.

Everything in the engine bay appears to be new in addition to seats, rear seat, trunk, carpets, panels, bumpers, grille, cooling system, hydraulics, etc.

And down the road, runs and drivers extremely well and impressive when one kicks in and out of over drive. It not only looks new but feels new.

After a careful examination and, being the owner of a superb restored MGBGT, my impression was that this was an ideal car either as is OR as the starting point for an even better car. Much as I did with my BGT, we can add a full sunroof (great on a warm day), a powerful auxiliary heater (which makes my car comfy/cozy even down to 20 degrees outside. A nice digital stereo, chrome wire wheels, driving lights, and lots of smaller options. To make this car better than when it was brand new.

Want more power and performance? We can offer a variety of drive train improvements which include a modern 5 speed trans, aluminum cross flow cylinder head with either SU or Weber carbs, tubular headers, higher compression OR go the way I chose, removed and sold my car's original engine and trans and used the funds to purchase, rebuild, modify and install a 2.8 liter Chevy V6 with T5 heavy duty five speed trans and further modified my car by fitting an MGC 3.07 back axle. The result is a 130 mph classic GT, turns a mere 3,000 rpm at 90 mph. Just like a contemporary car. Smooth , powerful, reliable, incredibly flexible, and the V6 engine is smaller and lighter than the original MGB 4 cylinder engine.

The price of this car is a faction of the cost of rebuilding and restoration. And, adding some or all of the above options certainly adds more cost. But we finished my car over six years ago and since then, have had faultless performance for 24 consecutive seasons, Summers, Winters, and everything in between. And has proven to be the most versatile and enjoyable classic car I have ever owned.
